Session 11: Lifestyle Evangelism

Lifestyle evangelism means to live such a good life that people look at how you live and desire to know Christ because you live such a good life.

Can you think of a Christian who lived such a virtuous life that they became famous?

Mother Terresa comes to mind. Was she known for the large numbers of people who became Christians because they saw what a Godly person she was?

No.

Can you think of a person who became famous for leading large numbers of people to Christ?

How about Billy Graham? Did he lead such a good life that people saw how he lived and wanted to become a Christian? No. He spoke. He preached. He shared the gospel by speaking.

Romans 10:14 declares, “How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them?”

You are commanded to share the gospel, and you can not share the gospel without speaking.
